Il modello da running presentato da Onitsuka Tiger apposta per i Pre-Trials delle Olimpiadi messicane del 1968 è stato il primo ad adottare il sistema LIMBUR, ovvero le iconiche striature laterali sviluppate per favorire un maggior sostegno e supporto al piede durante la corsa.
