DJ Shocca era la: “Bologna By Night”, “Ghetto Blaster”, “Parole”, “Rendez vous col delirio”, Coltelli”.

Dj Shocca: Ciao a tutti, what’s good kids?

Oppure bevo qualcosa. O entrambi.

Puoi svelare qualche segreto in merito a come hai ottenuto queste timbriche così caratteristiche?”

Come e’ nata quella strumentale cosi iconica?”

Top secret. Get ready 2 rock kids!!!

UK. Slipp Skills & LU3 Beatz

L’underground inglese è sempre in movimento.

🇬🇧 ENG

Europe Radar is back, we have the spotlight on what’s happening in Europe within our musical environment. “Big Up” for our readers, who have suggested which direction to peek in some countries, and above all, thanks for the good vibes given by the new contributors in the editorial staff.

UK. Slipp Skills & LU3 Beatz

The British underground is always on the move. This song is featured on the new Slipp Skills album “Multiple Mind States” released on October 31st for the Runt Life Records label. Here is another confirmation that the hypnotic stuff plus the English accent always have an accurate chemistry. Maybe this single deserves more hype in the crowded local psychedelic corner, with High Focus and Blah Records dominating. The other tracks on the album are produced by different beat-makers, in “Dan Aykroyd” LU3 Beatz shines. You can see the super power of groove in this producer, the one that make head bumping. The sound engineering of the album is by Chemo. 5 stars for the demential video, probably produced of a Carlsberg six pack’s budget, we love this type of things!

Germany. Haftbefehl

If there is a list of people to not mess with in Germany, he is definitely in the Top 5. The English translation of his name would be “warrant for detention”. Haftbefehl is the older brother of the more well-known Capo Azzlack. Teutonic gangsta rap but the MC has a Kurdish and Turkish heritage. His videos are hyper explicit and the lyrics are pure, the songs are musical and despite the language limit they are “catchy” even for those who dont speak German. Haftbefehl is not a momentary phenomenon of the current criminal drill and trap wave, in Germany he is an established rap superstar capable of dominating any type of beat, “1999 pt1” and “1999 pt2” are the perfect example. To fully understand the weight of the character, it is advisable to watch the clip of “WIEDER AM BLOCK” feat. SOUFIAN. As he himself says in the track “OFFEN”, do not dare to enter their neighborhood.

France. JuL

“Loi de la calle” is the first extract from the “Classico Organisé” compilation. The record was presented by JuL as one of the most ambitious French rap projects, because it hosts more than 150 artists mostly from Marseille and Paris. This song is a posse-cut with 8 emcees (Lacrim, Alonzo, Mister You, JuL, Niro, Kofs, Le Rat Luciano, DA Uzi) representing several generations of French rap, from the 90s to today. After a few hours of publication, the single seems to flare up on social media.

Poland. Halastra

The artist is underground, for us has been very difficult to find reliable information on his biography. The Rap Genius Polska page has defined him as one of the promises of the new Polish school since 2019. His catalog is quite large, there are many singles and video clips on Youtube. Just in these winter days he is releasing new material, the sound is DarkTrap, there is not even a shadow of autotune and winking refrains. The quality of the mc can be sensed, one gets the impression that despite the choice of a fresh and current sound, the school of origin is the one from rap battle and hard-core rapping. The Halastra material is solid.

Belgium. The Poignée de Punchlines

Give me 5 prod. has created a format based on a very simple concept: through Facebook groups funs choose 20 or 30 words that artists will have to integrate in a music production. Sometimes is also chosen a main concept in which to include keywords. This formula is cool and has been around for years, generating hundreds of videos and rap activities in French language. Several absurd characters stand out in the playlist, a brilliant stop-motion video by Billie Brelok and this artist called BALAO.

Czech Republic. 1312 Records, Michajlov, Daniel Vardan

1312 Rec is a very prolific reality in the Czech Republic. On their channel it is possible to listen to numerous songs that vary in quality and genre and which give ideas for those willing to learn more about the local scene. Michajlov and Daniel Vardan seem completely obsessed with Italian football, which (as a non-football fan) inspires us (however) a lot of sympathy, especially because the boys know how to rap and many songs are hard-core.

Denmark. Machacha

This rapper and producer released “The Hundred” for the Copenhagen Crates label. The disc is characterized by dark samples and dirty drums, in short, a typical Danish restaurant, which hosts in each track important guest such as Eastee Nack, Recognize Ali, Rigz, Jah-Monte and Supreme Celebral and more US artists. Worthy of praise the forerunner track “In The Dark” ft. Eto, Josiah The Gift & Swabs.

Holland. BlabberMouf

M.C. and prolific producer member of various crews including Het VerZet and Da Shogunz. He has several albums to his credit, his style is often characterized by extrabeats that never expire in mere technical virtuosity but that always retain a marked musicality. On January 1st the new album will be released, of which he has already released some singles, in the meantime we mention this little dutch classic.

Catch Us in The Same Corner, Until Next. Week!

Track List:

BERNER “Draped up”, FBG GOAT feat YOUNG THUG & LONDON ON DA TRACK “Private phones”, LIL REESE feat YOUNG DOLPH “Show us some”, DAY PARKAY “Things changed”, DAY PARKAY feat VADO “Due time”, BANDO & ISAIAH RASHAD “Payday”, SMILEY feat OHGEESY “How can I miss”, SMILEY feat TAY KEITH & PRESSA “38”, DUKE DEUCE “The hype”, SMINO & NOS “I deserve”, BANDO & ISAIAH RASHAD “Payday”, RICK ROSS feat 21 SAVAGE “Outlawz”, MONEY MAN MONEYBAGG YO “LLC”, DABABY feat 21 SAVAGE “Sticked up”, AESOP ROCK “Jazz hands”, CLAMS CASINO “Water theme 2”, STALLEY & APOLLO BROWN “We outside”, HAITI BABII “Party roccin”, BIZZY CROOK feat 42 DUGG “Played out”, SILK SONIC feat BOOTSY COLLINS & THUNDERCAT “After last night”.

ENG 🇬🇧

We have prepared the soundtrack for this phase of full autumn and rainy days.

The “A” for this new playlist was the song “I deserve” by Smino; devastating atmosphere that brings new air from Missouri and more precisely from the same clique as JID, Guapdad 4000 and Zoink Gang, along with the new highly autumnal track “Private Phones” by FBG Goat and Young Thug.

Along the same lines as Smino comes the album of another talent we had already met a couple of weeks ago and it is Smiley from Toronto. Cannot fail to also mention the new single by Rick Ross with 21 Savage on the production of an invigorated Araab Muzik.

An autumn still slightly warm with a shining sun for Anderson Paak who with his group Silk Sonic brings an album full of inspiration and Soul / Funk quotes so much to host in the track that we have put in the playlist the good Bootsy Collins, directed by the P-Funk school from the late 1970s.

On the other hand, Lil Reese from Chicago and Duke Deuce from Memphis brings the winter earlier.

East coast producer Clams Casino reaffirms himself after taking the ASAP Rocky sound to the top a few years ago in his debut era, mixing NYC and Houston.

Now It’s time to let the music speak it self.

Catch Us in The Same Corner, Until Next. Week!

Catch Us in The Corner, Next Week!

Here we go again at the fourth consecutive episode of CORNER WEEKLY PLAYLIST.

This week was full of news, obviously only for those looking for the freshest hits to be accompanied by during the daily grind. In e out the suburbs, to splash to work or start hustling, on the train or on the tube, in the car or on the bus, with headphones in the ears and the grin in the face of those who will be pampered by new beats and new rhymes.

With a special mix of sensations there is the work of a couple already certified like CURRENSY & HARRY FRAUD.

DEREZ DE’SHON and MORRAY is something got us all hyped up.

Stories of everyday life without frills, with a lot of motivation towards tomorrow and a fresh style but always with a very high degree of credibility.

For the big party at the club or even in your crib, FRENCH MONTANA pulled out a devastating single, great credit goes to BOI 1DA who produced that painful beat.

For the most passionate underground palates there is the now indissoluble couple WILLIE THE KID and producer V DON who constantly churn out EP after EP. Also notable this week are JAY-Z, JADAKISS AND CONWAY, PLANET ASIA, FASHWAN, EVIDENCE, SHEEK LOUCH, GRAPH, DJ SHAY, DOMO GENEIS, SIR VETERANO, RANSOM and BUN B.

Then a bit of relaxation in slowdown with the R’n’B of the good BJ THE CHICAGO KID and then return to the Detroit of BIG SEAN which brings verses in an EP all produced by HIT-BOY who is now fiercely applying for producer of the year.

By now you should know when it’s time to play!

Catch Us in The Corner, Next Week!

Welcome to CORNER, the Dirty Dagoes and FAT FAT CorFunk weekly Playlist.

These days massive connections links different areas of the States. DARK LO & HAVOC create a melting pot between Chicago and Queens Bridge, MUGGS and CRIMEAPPLE combine L.A. slang and lifestyle to the “Latin Lingo” recovering the Colombian retail of the MC with the red beard. The use of an iconic sample by NINO BRAVO, a 70s Spanish singer, is used by the SOUL ASSASSINS producer to create a beat banger, even if drum-less. The “Spanish” trend continues with a series of “Instant Classics” produced by the excellent COOKIN SOUL, which lends its beats for spicy mixes with FREDDIE GIBBS, A$AP ROCKY, SNOOP DOGG AND BEJO. Even the “Dirty South” is super hot! The album by DON TOLIVER, TRAVIS SCOTT’s pupil (the boy was involved in “Astroworld” which meant the main gate to the next level for him), certainly stands out for its freshness. South also very hot for the joint album by LIL WAYNE & RICH THE KID and especially for CURRENSY‘s New Orleans which release an album entirely produced by 808 RAY and SMITTY BEATZ of the COOL’N’DRE gang (those who changed the game with the multi-platinum hit: Hustlin ‘). MEEK MILL and his Philly in the running to deliver this MC to history; he is young but since the things with RICK ROSS and freestyle SMACK DVD already seemed like a predestined one, now he is out with “Expansive Pain” and a host of producers at his side, from BOI 1DA to TAY KEITH passing through CARDO and FUSE 808. Many other nuances in our weekly selection, but now is time to cut the chat. All you have to do is press play and turn up the volume.
